About Ai

Hello!

Ai is an Art Therapist who has experience working with diverse populations treating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and LGBTQIA+ issues. With a multicultural, bilingual (Japanese and English) perspective, Ai profoundly understands and appreciates the resilience and flexibility revealed in people’s stories. In both individual and group settings, Ai utilizes imagery and creativity to offer a safe space to explore the challenges people experience in different stages of life and the emotional landscape.

Her specialty is creating approaches that meet clients where they are with a variety of tools to help them shape their own unique paths. This can take the form of a powerful supplement to talk therapy, a way forward when words fail, and a tangible “thing” to look at and feel. She is looking forward to supporting you on your journey towards healing.
