Sometimes sessions will feel lighter, sometimes heavier. There’s room for your laughter, tears, anger, shame, excitement, fears. We don’t set an agenda, but go by your lead of what is on your mind and of importance to you. We will talk about the past, present, and future as it organically surfaces, and we will help you make important connections about yourself to help you grow and evolve. By making you feel safe and seen, you will more easily find healing and change.

We are in-network with Aetna insurance as well as Aetna Student Health insurance plan specific to Columbia University. If you have either of these insurances, you will be responsible for a weekly copay.
We are out-of-network with all other insurance plans, meaning that you will pay us directly for services rendered each week. We provide you with weekly statements for your records and a monthly superbill that you can submit to your insurance company to receive partial or full reimbursement, depending on your insurance plan.
You can also use a Healthcare Flexible Spending Account to pay for services. We offer a limited sliding scale payment plan to those who qualify.

The Federal No Surprises Act went into effect on January 1, 2022 to protect patients from surprise medical bills. As a result, all licensed health providers who offer out of network services are required to post a notice of your “rights and protections against surprise medical bills” on our websites or in our physical offices. As an out-of-network provider, you will know with certainty the cost of each of session, as you will pay us that same fee each week. It is unlikely that you would ever receive a surprise bill from our practice, given that you must sign off on our scheduling and cancellation policy before we begin working together. If you ever have questions or concerns about billing, we would be happy to clarify and provide you with clear, accurate information.
