(he/him)

Pericles holds a Master’s degree in Integral Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies, one of the nation’s leading programs in holistic and depth-oriented psychology. He is a certified Mindfulness Meditation Teacher through Tibet House US and Dharma Moon and maintains a strong interest in spiritual traditions across cultures.

Pericles believes that healing and growth happen through genuine human connection. He offers a warm, collaborative therapeutic space where clients are invited to show up just as they are, without judgment or pressure. His style is relational, grounded, and curious, and he prioritizes creating a sense of safety that allows difficult or tender material to emerge at a manageable pace.

His approach to psychotherapy is integrative and client-centered, drawing from psychodynamic theory, transpersonal psychology, and Eastern contemplative practices. Pericles brings a wide range of lived experience that informs his sensitivity to cross-cultural dynamics, immigration, acculturation stress, class, and LGBTQ+ identities. He understands symptoms such as anxiety, depression, trauma, or relationship difficulties not simply as problems to be eliminated, but as meaningful expressions of the psyche seeking care, understanding, and integration.

Clients often describe Pericles as warm, steady, and deeply attuned. They report feeling seen, understood, and supported without judgment. His presence is experienced as grounding, and his curiosity as gentle and respectful. Pericles works with individuals from diverse backgrounds who are navigating life transitions, healing from past wounds, or seeking deeper self-understanding, and he walks alongside clients as they move toward greater clarity, balance, and fulfillment.
