Individual Therapy

We offer therapy that is tailored toward your specific needs and rests on an affirming, humanistic, and trauma-informed stance

Our therapy is tailored to your needs with an affirming, humanistic, and trauma-informed approach, drawing from modalities such as psychodynamic, DBT, IFS, narrative therapy, art therapy, and somatic work. Through weekly 45-minute sessions, we integrate mindfulness, movement, and art as needed, fostering collaborative expression through dreams, art, writing, music, or other means for holistic healing.

We provide individual therapy using the following modalities:

  • Psychodynamic

Delve into unconscious patterns, build insight, heal wounds, and engage in change.

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

Build skills in the following areas: Mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness.

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)

Facilitate understanding and harmony among various aspects of the self.

  • Narrative Therapy

Reshape life stories, and foster self-awareness and positive change.

  • Somatic Therapy

Foster mind-body awareness and use embodied exercises to release stress and trauma stored in the body.

  • Art Therapy

Utilize artistic practices to tap into and express your emotions and make meaning.

How this works:

We will help you build insight into why you are feeling distressed so that you can use this insight to make positive changes to improve your life and start feeling better.

While working to deepen insight, we concurrently help you process any difficult emotions that arise. Depending on your needs and requests, we may integrate mindfulness exercises as well as movement and art in our work together.

We consider therapy to be a co-created process and encourage you to invite us into your inner world via the use of dreams, art, writing, music, or other means of metaphor. Head, heart, body, and spirit are all utilized to help you heal. Sessions are held once per week for 45 minutes.
