Individual Therapy

Humanistic, trauma-informed care that blends depth work with practical skills—tailored to you.

What you can expect

A thoughtful match. We’ll pair you with a therapist who fits your needs, preferences, and schedule.

  • Collaborative goals. Together we’ll clarify what “feeling better” looks like—emotionally, relationally, creatively, and in the body.

  • Weekly momentum. Most clients meet once per week for 45 to 60 minutes; longer sessions are available when clinically helpful.

  • Beyond talk. When useful, we weave in mindfulness, movement, dreams, writing, music, and art to help express and transform what’s hard to say.

How therapy works here

  1. Consult & match. Share what you’re looking for; we’ll recommend a therapist and first steps.

  2. Early sessions. Build safety, map patterns, and get relief tools you can use right away.

  3. Deepen & integrate. Process emotions, shift stuck dynamics, and practice new ways of being—head, heart, body, and spirit.

  4. Sustain change. We’ll pace the work so gains stick in daily life.

Approaches we use

  • Psychodynamic: Understand patterns, heal old wounds, and create real change.

  • DBT: Skills for mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and relationships.

  • IFS: Build harmony among different “parts” of self so you feel more whole.

  • Narrative: Re-author the stories you live by; make room for new chapters.

  • Somatic: Tune into the body to release stress and trauma held in the nervous system.

  • Art-based therapy: Use imagery and making to access feelings and meaning when words aren’t enough.
