Our Therapists
Transcendent Self Therapy is a group practice founded by Dr. Kateri Berasi, a licensed clinical psychologist with nearly 20 years of experience. As founder and director, Dr. Berasi is highly selective about the clinicians she brings onto the team, choosing professionals who are not only smart and highly skillful, but also deeply empathic and creative in their approaches.
Our clinicians bring expertise in individual, couples, group, costume, and psychedelic integration therapy, as well as integrative, creative, and holistic methods of care. What unites us is a shared commitment: to create spaces where people feel seen, supported, and empowered to grow. Our team includes therapists with varied cultural backgrounds and the ability to work in multiple languages, ensuring that clients from many walks of life can feel understood and respected.
We also value breadth and flexibility in training. Across our practice, clinicians are grounded in a wide range of modalities—from psychodynamic and relational approaches to DBT, CBT, mindfulness-based therapies, and creative arts interventions. This diversity of skill means there is always a clinician who can meet you where you are and offer support that fits your unique needs.
At Transcendent Self Therapy, we see the therapeutic match as essential. By combining thoughtful leadership, diverse perspectives, and a dedication to meaningful connection, we work to ensure that every client is paired with a therapist who feels like the right fit to walk alongside them on their path of healing and growth.
